Sir Charles Martel,
Mayor of the Court to King Louis XXII of France

Sir Charles Martel invisible spacer King Louis’ most trusted advisor and diplomat. The king likes to be aloof from public life and delegates most of his political negotiations to Martel.

Martel often finds himself locking horns with the Duke of Lorraine, whose imperialist, hawkish stance on foreign policy is in direct opposition to King Louis’ desire for stability and peace.

First appears in Issue 3.
